Still growing and learning

I wasn't sure what to name this post because it's really a mixture of everything and just to catch everyone up with what Kristopher is up to.

On the first nice day this spring we went and had ice cream and Kristopher got his first taste. I have pictures on my phone and don't know how to get them to my computer but hopefully I can so you can see how much he loved it. I don't know who had more Daddy or Kristopher but the double dip waffle cone disappeared fast. I don't know how often he will get ice cream because he is wild enough as it is. He always seems to get the most excited right before his bath. I don't know if he's getting rid of the last little bit of energy he has before bed or if he's trying to stay up later. Either way I hate to put him to bed because I just want to spend a little more time with him. I feel like I put him to bed so early, 8:30. If I don't put him to bed by 8:30 he does not sleep well. It is very true that they get over tired. He's getting better but still not consistent.

So we are planning Kristopher's 1st Birthday. We are having it at a clubhouse so that I don't have to worry about cleaning up and getting everything dirty. I still can't believe he is a year already. It feels like I was just in the hospital having him and now he's walking and talking (sort of). I hope he has a good time and doesn't get too tired. Right now I am trying to decide on what's the best car seat to get him next. Any input or hints would be welcome. I am thinking about the Graco SafeSeat Step 2. I guess it is the only convertible car seat that reclines while installed and it's easy to recline while driving. I figured this would be a good feature since Kristopher falls asleep a lot in his car seat.

Speaking of car seats, Kristopher wore shorts yesterday and his legs rubbed on his car seat and now they are all broken out. I just don't know what to do. Has anyone had this problem?

Well I better get back to work.

Until next time, enjoy!
