So Sunday was a picture taking day. Kristopher cooperated pretty well and did especially well showing off his two new teeth. I know it is hard to see them but there are two little white bumps on his bottom gums.
I think the new teeth are contributing to Mommy's lack of sleep. He is still not sleeping through the night and for all the mothers that read this, any helpful hints are welcome. When he wakes up he is wide awake and either I'm up for another hour or I give him a bottle and go back to sleep. Sometimes I can just give him a pacifier and he'll go back to sleep but most of the time he is wide awake and takes a bottle.
So I'm being adventurous with food now. Kristopher now likes cheerios, American cheese and Popsicles. The Popsicles was an accidental taste but all the same I think he enjoyed it. So now of course when Mommy is eating a Popsicle Kristopher has to taste it to make sure it is OK. It is quite humorous to watch his face as he tries to BITE the Popsicle.
Lots of work to do, so until next time, Enjoy.

9 months and counting
So yesterday was Kristopher's 9 month checkup. He is 19 pounds and 29 inches long. He's growing fast. He is now pulling himself up and "Furniture Surfing" as people say. I am pretty sure he has the hang of it but that does not make me worry any less. Does the stress or worry ever ease up? I don't know maybe I worry too much. I just want what is best for him and I don't want him to do anything that will hurt him. The doctor said we can slowly start to introduce more foods to him but I am hesitant. He has such sensitive skin that I am afraid he will break out because of something he ate. Neither James nor I have any food allergies but I would hate for Kristopher to get any.
Anyway, Sunday Kristopher was baptized. He is now a Catholic. It was a wonderful ceremony after mass and the priest was our main priest at St. Timothy's. He explained everything and why we do things the way we do. It was really a nice reminder of where we came from, for anyone who is Catholic, and what we believe in. I will post pictures as soon as I get some from the grandparents. Mommy was so busy that she did not have time to take pictures but is sure everyone else got plenty. So I will post more later but as of now, Mommy is tired and is ready for what tomorrow is going to bring. So until next time, Enjoy reading.

1st Tooth!!
So I get to the babysitter last night to pick up Kristopher and she asks me if I know that Kristopher has a tooth. I said, "No, but he should get one soon." She said, "Well he has one now!!" : )
Can you believe that, yesterday Kristopher got his first tooth!! He didn't even fuss more than normal. He didn't sleep through the night but that's normal. Still working on that but last night he did okay. He went to bed at 9:00 and then up at 11:00 and got a bottle and then got up at 1:30 but I was able to put him right back to sleep. Then he was awake at 6. I really couldn't ask for any better right now. I just can't stand making him cry. I guess if at 1 year he is still not sleeping through, then I will be letting him cry himself to sleep. I'll let you know at 1 year what I do. ; )
Well I just wanted to let everyone know that the 1st tooth has appeared!!
Until next time, enjoy!!

Pictures from the Holidays
Celebrating Christmas at Grammy & Grampy Hastings' House the Saturday before Christmas. Such fun with so many presents.
He is slowly but surely getting the hang of pushing himself around on this. I think he really likes it.
Also, on Christmas day we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa House. I got so many more presents and lots of clothes.
Grandpa Robert even got me a Kawasaki 4-Wheeler, I will be able to ride it soon so pictures will be coming soon . . .
Better get back to work, until next time, Enjoy!!
What is this green prickly thing?
Let's find out . . .
It is certainly, pretty and it would be fun to pull over . . .
Christmas Day!! Mommy and Daddy's present!
Let's attack it and find out what it is . . .
What is this, stuff? It is so neat to play with and makes a neat sound.
I'm getting there . . .
Let's see what it tastes like . . .
Yea it's a Mater Truck!! I have to agree with Laura on horn that we could have done without!!

So Far Behind
I know I am so far behind on this and I apologize to anyone who has been checking and has not seen any new postings. So the busy holidays have come and gone. They were very hectic but very nice. Got to spend quality time with both sides of the family and Kristopher was a very good boy this year because Santa brought him lots of nice toys and plenty of clothes to wear for the next couple months until I need the next size.
It is so amazing how fast they grow and how little they get to wear their clothes. Hopefully our next child is a boy so I won't have to buy anything because everything Kristopher will had down will be practically new. Oh well, I guess I will just have to get used to it.
So, this year we let the grandparents do most of the shopping for Kristopher and we just got him and riding toy that is "Mater" from the movie "Cars". By the way, if you haven't seen that movie, you need to. It is definitely worth renting or even buying if you have children or grandchildren of your own. But we'll definitely make up for it next Christmas when he realizes what is going on.
Well we just got back from our first family vacation and it was so nice to just be able relax and spend time with the family. Kristopher is officially crawling on all fours and there is no missionary crawl anymore. He is everywhere and into everything. He loves wires and anything he is not supposed to have, he wants. I guess that is the way it is supposed to be. We went to West Jefferson, North Carolina and is was a nice small town. Our cabin was up in the mountains and secluded from everyone. It was a nice 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom log cabin with a hot tub (wasn't used) and a big screen TV. It was pretty cold, single digits, and windy since we were pretty far up the mountain. We even took the dogs with us so it really was a whole family vacation. The dogs had a good time and were really good being in a new place. I think they were just glad to be with us.
I will post pictures as soon as I get them on my computer but I just wanted to catch everyone up quickly on the recent events. So until next time, enjoy!!
