Happy Holidays

So we went to visit Santa this year but it did not go quite as planned. Maybe next year.

Update

I know it has been awhile since I have posted but I have been busy with the holidays and working on getting a divorce. Which by the way, I am on my 3rd lawyer but still not divorced. I am much happier so I know I am doing the right thing but it is a long difficult process. The saying that it takes twice as long to get divorced as it does to get married is absolutely true. Grrr!! Oh well, I will let everyone know when it is over.


As for Kristopher, he is doing very well. He is non-stop in motion that is when he is awake. He is adjusting to the change very well. It's just hard for Mommy. He is talking very well and starting to put sentences together. It is sometimes frustrating to me because I can't understand him sometimes but I think he will be patient with me. He loves to repeat himself. Ok, I know you're anxious for pictures so here are the latest and greatest.

This is Kristopher's other horse, Blue, that his beloved, late great-grandfather got for him.

Papa passed away on Thanksgiving this year. It was sudden but then again it was expected. The family was able to have a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner the Sunday before Thanksgiving but then Monday morning Papa woke up with back pains and it just got worse from then on until Thursday afternoon. His passing was peaceful and it was comforting knowing that Papa was no longer in any pain. It is so hard to lose someone you love.

We will miss you and love you always, Papa.

Haven't forgotten

So I'm sorry it has been so long since I last posted but there have been some changes in my life that have been taking up a lot of my time. I have filed for divorce from James. I feel that it is the best thing right now and your thoughts and prayers will be appreciated. So far, Kristopher is handling it ok but it will get harder before it gets better. I just know things will be better in the long run. I have just realized that I need better and that I deserve better. Here are some recent pictures. I will keep everyone posted.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot

Two weekends ago, Kristopher had a temperature all weekend it even got up to 103.2. Scary for a first time mother. Come to find out, he cut two teeth at the same time. That's not it though, I notice a few days later that two molars had come in on top. So Kristopher was cutting 4 teeth all together. Since I know that now, I can't believe he didn't act any worse. He was actually pretty good considering the facts. Just thought I would tell everyone. Will post more pictures soon.

Finally broke down

So I finally broke down and got Kristopher's hair cut. It was just too long for the hot summer days. I definitely saved the curls. He looks so cute and looks like a big boy. I'll get some better pictures up soon.
